The UVic Sailing Club creates valuable and unique opportunities for members of the UVic community to escape the rigors of their classes and labs, and learn to sail, sail recreationally, and participate in a rigorous race team that travels all over the United States and Canada.
UVic Sailing provides unique opportunities for students to grow and learn outside of the classroom. Students learn team work, leadership, and organization, and are constantly challenged to improve and grow personally, and constantly improve the Sailing Club in order to provide better opportunities for all students.
We run our Lessons, Junior Varsity, and Race Team within Cadboro Bay. You can find our compound on the west side of Gyro Park.

Hi! My name is Aline Waldhauser and I’m going to apply to UVic for Fall of 2024, visiting today actually. I am super interested in joining the sailing team!
